Majority of my experience that I drew from before becoming a cop was customer service/sales. It's more applicable than you think That is so true. Most of Mack's advice was on point and he's correct that there's no magic formula to getting hired, but the image with the Yelp 3 out of 5 stars with a blurb saying needs more volunteering doesn't come across very well, particularly coming from someone who isn't actually a cop.
