Re: Crossfit Workouts

Shawshank - try throwing this into your workouts. Start with 3 rounds of 3 or something comfortable with no weight. It's more for explosiveness from your hips but I find it helps me with mobility as well. m And since I'm posting, I'm starting week 2 of a 3 week strength cycle. My session for today: ...

Re: Canadian Forces Military Police

[quote="WN85"] The trade has a high turnover rate, so they will always be looking for people.quote] You've got that right. From what I've heard they could fill half a reg force course replacing guys who have jumped on the upcoming RCMP lateral course. 48 - on a somewhat unrelated topic, th...

Re: References for background check

Edit - first comment was too unprodctive. Al Razavi - Yes, search harder. These questions are all covered on here, google, etc. The application asks for names of employers, so I guess they usually start there. And when they ask for more references, they will start with them and then do their job as ...

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

Thanks brother. I'm looking forward to making the jump and the training as well. They mentioned Listowel. I'm guessing this will change depending on when I can get on a course.

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

I'm in the military and am posted outside of Canada. According to the release section I must be in Canada 30 days prior to release from the CF. I'm hopefully getting full details tonight. Either way my release is going in tomorrow.

If anyone knows a way around this I'd be thankful for a pm.

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

Congrats to everyone that got the call. I got a call as well, but I'm pretty confident that I won't be able to attend in January. Quite disappointed... Crossing my fingers for an April class. Needless to say it's an incredible feeling when you're called. Good luck to the rest in the pool.

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

Now you have to decide what font to use... By manipulating the fonts used in your resume, you can easily create a hierarchy of information. In general, fonts are divided into two categories: serif and sans-serif. Serifs are the short stems on the ends of the strokes of a letter, as in T of the Time...

Re: Secret Security Clearance taking awhile

How long does a CSIS level 2 ("Secret Level") Security Clearance take for a Federal Government department position? I've been waiting 7 months. I've lived in multiple cities in Canada and one city outside of Canada within the past 10 years. Understandably the clearance should take awhile ...

Re: Crossfit Workouts

After a brief affair with P90X, I am crawling back to Crossfit.
I'll keep the Yoga and stretch, but for me nothing compares with the Crossfit results.
That is all. Giddy up.
