Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

There are two aspects to the security screening. The actual "secret" security clearance and your "reliability" status. If you hang around with the wrong people you could be denied your security clearance. If you don't pass the reliability aspect of the security screening, you wil...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Keep in mind that for the first year you will only be paid at the FB 2 level, not the FB 3. Once you are successful on your Officer Induction Developmental Program you will move to FB 3.

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Am I correct to assume that all new officers posted out of Rigaud, will go either to an Airport or land crossing? Not for instance, say the port of Halifax searching shipping containers or processing Cruise ship passengers? Also for the POE's that are opened seasonally are they manned by volunteers...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

Just have a few questions please? For those who have finished training. 1 Do you get to do a house hunting trip when you find out where your going? Is this paid for by us or is there an allowance? 2 Do you get to go home to help move all your things or does someone else have to do it? Do you get an...
