OC spray is brutal. It lasts a long time and it's not just the physical pain, it's the psychological effect. (Everyone reacts to it differently so there's no set answer for how much it hurts/how long it lasts etc) I'd rather be tasered 5 times in a row before being OC sprayed again. Taser sucks too,...

Stay away from UA and SWATs, they're garbage quality and fall apart fast. I have 5.11s (as do a lot of officers I work with) and no one has had any issues. I wear them year round and they are good in all weather. I've heard Hanwags are the best thing since sliced bread, so there's another option. To...

I checked out the sierra bravo belt at the 5.11 store, it does look really nice, but the price is really high. How is it for comfort compared to a regular nylon belt? Does the thinner build make it easier on the back and hips? It's only $70 dollars, pretty much on par with most other duty belts. Ha...

Just buy a new one.

Get the 5.11 Sierra Bravo. Best duty belt I've ever worn, and the buckle is tiny which is great for all the crap we have to wear these days.
