Re: Ask the CBSA!

Hello guys, Did any BSO on here transfer from CSC? I am a Correctional Officer but I have had my eye on customs for a while as a possible transfer. I've heard from guys at the pen that people have lateral transfered departments but I am not sure on how exactly to do it. I am assuming that I apply to...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Anybody a BSO that worked as a CX for CSC prior to joining the CBSA? If so, did you just apply to an external position? or is there some sort of an federal transfer thing that I am missing? I've searched the internal job board but havent seen any open BSO jobs but I do see the external process being...

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

Man this sucks... I loved the historic aspect of KP, and I was hoping to work there someday. I feel bad for everybody who has a job affected by this - I hope they are able to find local institutions for you guys and you don't have to move or even worse, lose your position and I hope the rumours are ...

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

No I just meant shooting a firearm to minimize the initial stress of never shooting a firearm before. Do you think I should at least do that? or would it be more beneficial to wait and do everything at core? or does it even matter, maybe I am being overly ambitious lol. If you want to get that &quo...

Question for CSC employees that have been from one region and relocated to another for employment. I have a question for anyone who has the answer. For the medical, what is you have controlled high blood pressure/hypertension. Otherwise good health and shape. BP is around 140/80 controlled with meds

Can you still be a CO with this condition?/pass the medical exam
