Re: Starting again after final review

Just to sent your mind at ease, a friend of mine was in the OPP pool and rejected twice. He was then hired with another service this year. He had been applying for 5-6 years.

Re: Almost Hired Thread.

Made it through the entire process with a municipality but was told at the end I was no longer being considered and to reapply in 1 years time. Very discouraging, but will use the time to better myself and reapply. You're not the first person that this has happened to and certainly wont be the last...

Re: Almost Hired Thread.

Helloo! My first post. I am being fast-tracked through the process with Peel. Basically did my interview, BGI, psych test, and psych interview within a span of 2 days. My next step is a pre-board physical and then the board interview. Everything is going well, if I pass the PREP again I think I sho...

I'll get back into posting on here...

Walk 200 meters (1/2 lap on track)
Jog 200 meters (1/2 lap on track)
25 air-squats
25 push-ups

6 rounds of: run for 2:00 minutes then recover/walk for 1:00 minute. Each run was between 400-450M.

I've never actually went into the place. I have requested online and it doesn't usually take to long.

Re: Peel Regional Police

I went to an out-of-province session and the recruiting team had applicants run to their maximum shuttle level. Out of 60+ applicants, only myself and 3 others passed stage 7. Maybe ATS should do the same and 7 can remain a pass for 6 months, but 8+ could be a 12 month pass. that would be nice, sav...

Re: Peel Regional Police

running a 9 or a 10 without any pushup, core or flex just seems a little easier to me, but perhaps I am wrong. My only complaint with the PIN is the new core as it tends to be more difficult for people that have a bigger upper body. That being said, I have gotten the 3minutes on the test but the old...

Re: Peel Regional Police

Hey everyone, quick question.. does PEEL do the MMPI-2 and PF16 or just the MMPI-2?

Once a LFA date opens up I can plan on starting their process... I find the things fill up so fast though!

Re: Improving, Motivation and going forward

Hey bud.. the struggle is real but you gotta keep plugging away... I'm on my 4th year of applying, over the last year I became a special constable at a University and a auxiliary officer, so there are always ways to improve whether volunteer, work and/or education... just don't give up if you really...

I would think minimum 75/100... or well that's usually the case with other services as far as I know.

Re: Auxiliary question

Well I can't speak for all services but for the service I'm auxiliary for we had to do a GATB and PIN test to get on if you didn't have your OACP certificate.

I remember reading somewhere that it was 28 years old. Now that wasn't posted specifically for Toronto but I believe statistics from past OPC classes? I'll try and find the source and update.

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

Hey everyone, had my LFI March 30th. Was just wondering what everyone's typical wait time was for being notified if successful or not. I was told 1 to 2 weeks in my interview but I've also heard some people getting their's almost 4 weeks later, regardless of what the interviewer said.

Re: Question about York Region and Toronto Police Services

Kind of a random question probably but assume I apply to both services. I pass the interviews and get to the psych component for both. If I fail my psych for York region, will I be able to still do one for Toronto? Or do they use the same results (including interviews, drug tests, physicals etc). I...
