Hi, new to this post. I recently put in for the Alberta posting with CSC. I was a CO in Yellowknife then returned to Ontario with MTO. How many postings are ongoing right now? Is the pool similar to what is going on with CBSA and expect a long drawn out process? Yes. The quickest I've heard so far ...

Some overlap a bit...there is no exact period in between. Although they seem to be running more frequently now.

Can't believe they get paid now for OJT and all the initial stages of training. I've only been in for 6 months so I must of just missed that luxury....DISAPPOINTING!!! Sorry I should clarify that my stressful comment was towards getting cleared on my medical not the content of our courses. I have not yet been cleared due to childhood asthma (which i no longer have). I am awaiting word.

I am headed off to CORE in under 2 weeks from now. I was given instructions to wear business casual clothing during class time. I am female and am looking for some examples of what would be acceptable to wear. Is it ideal to wear high heels and dress pants during class time? Hopefully this does not ...

I just went for my medical and I'm finishing stage 1. I wasn't even asked for medical until after my ctp invite.
