Hi all, what kind of time off does CBSA give for military courses and or deployments? I’m a reservist and I would like to remain one. Good to hear intakes are still happening. Maybe now we can get our deployments to other POE's divisions, etc.

I remember hearing rumours that if you are currently working in the federal government and get hired by another federal agency. I am entitled to be paid during training? I have been looking at previouis posts and trying to find it.

Hmmm haven't received the curriculum yet.
When I got hired by CSC, CSC played for my flight to Kingston from Vancouver for 2 months of training. Does CBSA also do the same?

Well that was quick. I am no longer an alternate and I am slotted to start August 12 as well! I will be probably taking a leave of absence as well. I guess it is way to early to tell which regions need people??!
