First off I had an opinion and got treated in an unprofessional manner. I was not in the reserves, I was a regular force member of the Royal Canadian Regiment with 6 years service with one over seas mission. I was and still to this day quite skilled with the C7. there are a lot of good options for optics for sure, need an optic with top sites as well for close quarter targets, unless they opt to just go with open sites. Optics are very pricey and costly to replace if damaged.

And to second the post, the way the RCMP does things it will take them years to employ this, I wont hold my breath, I work in a province with no rifles and the only reason I have one is the fact I am in a separate section, we need them now not tomorrow. First off you have no idea what unit I was in lol so before you tell me to give my head a shake check yourself. I have had the discussion with a fellow member who also has previous military service and is a pepsic instructor

there are countless members in the RCMP with previous military service and training on the c8 and c7 but as the norm they will not contact us regarding becoming instructors for this training, as this is par the course for the RCMP oh well there loss

Some people forget to use common sense use of there training and use the ASD all the time, I have been to call at the border where the driver was clearly intox slurred speech bloodshot glossy eyes sleepy and a strong odor of liquor on their breath, and an ASD was used. :roll:

VOT lol ya, my trainer mentioned that when I first started, my response was, if I am working I am getting payed, if overtime is not approved then I do not come in.
