Re: Any updates from site admins/moderators?

Seems that a few of you happened to look in on 5 posts made by 1 new forum member that spammed us with ads. Those posts are now locked-away in the vault, and the spammer is banned. A second suspected spammer has been banned before they could post. That is all - carry on as if I am normal, thank you.

Re: Australia Agrees To Send Troops To America

I am STILL considering re-upping and work the USA / CAN - MT & ND / SK border to keep the DRUMPF'ers out, and grab the Not-Great-White-Northerners that were stupid enough to head to DC and take them to our nearest penitentiary.

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Quick question about service time with the federal government; say I have 5 years with Correctional Service of Canada (CSC federal agency) will that time in uniform translate into any uniform time or some sort deducted time if I would join the RCMP. Things like seniority I would think would reset s...

Re: Injuries Pre-Depot

Hi all, How would recruitment handle a situation where an applicant suffers a pre-depot injury while training? Assuming applicant is currently in security clearance for example, and clearance comes back successful, but applicant suffers a torn ACL and requires surgery/rehab. Is the applicant forced...

Talk to Recruiting, but you MAY have to apply elsewhere; reality of life in the saddle.
I would have hoped this should have been done WAY before an offer was given.

Aye, lad, yes, one would.

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Good evening everyone, I currently received a Troop offer one week ago for February. It has been and extremely long road to get at this stage and has taken a tremendous amount of time, work and effort. Which I am very proud to have accomplished so far. Now for a question that I'm hoping someone has...

Look, VS may spit polish his high-browns with a rock and wet sand, but do not try to use him as a safety versus your home-boss!! I actually don't care what he tells his wife to justify buying it, just providing the facts. And I don't actually remember the last time I polished my high browns, but u d...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

It would make about as much sense as buying a C6 Corvette with an automatic transmission because you want it to help you get ready for your DZ/airbrake driving test two weeks from now...
I mean I know the P226 isn't comparable to a SW but I need an excuse to buy it lol.
Look, VS m...

Whether or not you can break my posting longevity record here is a whole 'nuther challenge. Step 1: make it so no other detachment wants to take you. Ah, it's like I never left........Van and Pete, you are legends. How many hours of your life have you spent on here ? I still regret giving you the, ...

Not talking about pot even if it's legalized, not just because you have to be pot free for 28 days but it was never my thing and never will be. However, I do enjoy few beers so...

True, but lookie at you - you won and got the Land Of Living Skies! It's an amazing province. Coming from Vancouver, BC and going to a town in Northern Saskatchewan, couldn't be happier! Hopefuls, applicants, and Cadets: take note of the above enthusiastic commentary. I FULLY EXPECT, however, any R...

That's definitely happened.

Broken dreams, too.
