Do we not have enough nuts on Facebook about this kind of stuff already!?
I don't do facebook sir.

Also I am more interested in the opinions of those of us in this career. Maybe private side would be better.

Re: A renewed call for a firearms registry

So with the new minority Liberal government propped up by the socialist/communist NDP how long before mass confiscations of legally owned firearms begin? How do we think the confiscation and the enforcement of such confiscations would work? Do we not have enough nuts on Facebook about this kind of ...

Re: Store Security releasing offenders

when i was previously in LP, we had what we called "protocol" with the city police. If the suspect had verifiable ID with verified address and no outstanding warrants than we could release by phone call with a desk sergeant. we basically had a direct number to a desk Sgt. instead of clogging up dis...

Re: Schedule

3 members on a platoon, or three all in? Sounds like a typical RCMP Contract Provincial Policing General Duty 3 member Detachment. If so, hopefully the Commander does not use the, "I have whatever-years of service, I am a Cpl, and the Detachment Commander - I do NOT work nights or weekends!&qu...

Re: The subject of arming western Community Peace Officers

None of my rambling above should be taken as to scoff at the work of CO or HP; I NEVER had an interest in checking fishers, or hunters, or following up on wasted game, nor was I a fan of checking brakes, log books, dangerous goods, nor vehicle weights, even though it was within my authorities. Whic...

Re: Police Physical Assessment (PIN TEST) Training

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, I attempted to post information here about fitness training that is in violation of Blue Line forums advertising guidelines, so Moderator Pete Broccolo is allowing my post to stand, but has wiped out everything else, and he will be "quoting" this post ASAP, bot...

Re: The subject of arming western Community Peace Officers

I'm sure everyone has seen / heard about the Saskatchewan CVE changing their mandate and name....now Saskatchewan Highway Patrol, armed and responding to rural 911 calls and expanded their traffic authority to passenger vehicles as well. Half the reason they became armed is due to passenger vehicle...

The reality is that he could be transferred ANYWHERE at any time. He could apply to become a Commissioned Officer once he gets to be a Cpl, or he could get seconded to INTERPOL...or patch-over to an ON Municipal PS. Sounds like he is leaving you hanging and could playing you. Good luck; the boss an...

Re: RCMP Career Management Manual

It's for a court case. Trial starts a week from Monday, and I need to prove the possibility of a transfer. I don't need to present one on a silver platter, but I do need to prove the inevitability and possibility to transfer to a different province (E div to O div). Having a list of the different w...

Re: RCMP Career Management Manual

Hello, From what I understand, the RCMP CMM is a publicly accessible document, but I'm having a heck of a time finding a copy. I requested through ATIP almost 90 days ago and did speak to someone at the 60-day mark but was told they are really back-logged. She had actually received my package but a...

No CPIC we query CCMTA and ICBC, the passenger produced valid reg for the truck the PODL was the same name as the driver gave my partner so we went with that.
