Re: Ask the CBSA!

Hey guys I'm new here and just had a few questions. 1. For the Psych Evaluation, do they want to know what medications you are on and stuff like that. Also would medications come in the way of passing the evaluation? 2. What does the interview consist of? Is it difficult or long....along those line...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

Hi everyone. I recently failed the interview and was wondering if there was a possibility of eventually re-taking it? Anybody knows how long I must wait ? It should have been in the letter you received. Well it's not in the letter I received, this is why I am asking here. Maybe asking your recruite...

I was thinking that myself when I made my last reply. I guess maybe if the discussion is going to continue we should move it to the private side?

Re: Welcome To The United States

I've heard that one before....i tend to come back with a retort of "what does a terrorist look like?" They assume all terrorists have turbans, long beards, etc...not realizing that Timothy McVeigh, "Unabomber" Ted Kaczynski, etc...are also considered terrorists.... Heck, even th...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

Hey all. This is my first post, I'm new here and I just had to register! In response to j18, I am currently in the selection process with the CBSA in the Quebec region. ThIngs are moving fairly quick for me. I wrote my bsot in June and just got my interview done Sept 19th. The interviewer told me I...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Hi guys! Not sure how to interpret this e-mail....but today I received an e-mail from my FC asking me if I was still interested in working in Calgary, AB (as I indicated in my application). She wanted to know specifically what, if any, of the conditions of employment I now meet ( PAL, First Aid, Dr...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

On a slightly different topic, I heard today from a very reliable source that the "top-down" process in regards to the interview process is now null and void. Essentially if you pass the BSOT, you are guaranteed an interview. Me guess is that it's back to not many people are passing the B...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Periodik is correct, and I think there were a couple of you who were pretty quick to jump on him. You might want to read the postings you made- Needs_a_Home and Protector 24...Heck I only visit this forum now and then and I knew that Periodik was from La Belle Province. I speak both languages and k...
