Looking for suggestions from anyone who has done the training, on items to bring, such as insulated rubber boots or steel toe boots or similar items that you found useful to have. depends when you joined the department, my troop has all and continue to have our pay held back due to the new Phoenix system. Some of the guys are still having room and board deducted from training that happens almost 3 months ago. I heard about that. An officer I used share a detachment with work...

The whole "medical marihuana" thing is a mystery to me. We have politicians, bureaucrats the courts and some (most definitely not all) physicians supporting the use of a "medicine" that has not been evaluated in randomized, double-blind controlled studies for efficacy and safety...
