Re: hanwag boots

Friend of mine bought a pair from T & T back in May, said he was LE and they gave him a discount For the ones of you that wonders- Track and Trail ships to other provinces for about $15(probably more for the territories) and yes, they still do the discount. Very good service and friendly staff.

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

I think everyone gets nervous during RMSI or Polygraph, but it's all part of the game. Some people here might disagree, but I think the way you behave during the interactions says a lot about how you deal with a stressful situation. Yup. Pretty much everybody gets nervous in uncomfortable situation...

Re: RCMP sweater

They didn't even issue me one, and I graduated in 07, they only were issuing what they had in stock. I would not wear it any way. They weren't ever a regular issue piece of kit for us, if they had them in stock you could go get one and they would bill it off your next pay check. I believe they were...

Re: Molle style vests

So if studies are showing that over half of officers suffer from lower back pain due to "Altered pelvic and spinal alignment due to the imbalanced weight distribution of the duty belt" why don't I see more cops wearing these? (Excluding cities like mine where constables are required to we...

They aren't only useful only for running. Some days you will have to wear long underwear under your uniform for outdoor scenarios and classes.. and for waiting in ranks outside after your tardy troopmates.

Re: Police Officers, your personal life?

I don't get my badge until May.....but I can't see it changing my personal life much. When I go home it's "me time" and I switch right out of work mode. I don't think about work or care about work unless I am at work. Everybody need to chill out. I meant to say that it's easy to state the...
