Re: Toronto ETF (the security company)
I wonder if his Bump-helmet is actually ballistic rated or just an Airsoft purchase.... Probably doesn't even have hard plates in the armor...... In any case, this is getting ridiculous.... Dude is just playing dress-up now.... Also... Nice Hard knuckle gloves he's got there...... Wonder if he's fa...

Re: Canadian Armed Forces
Majority of my experience that I drew from before becoming a cop was customer service/sales. It's more applicable than you think That is so true. People tend to go security and army, thinking that will help them. And it may, but providing customer service definitely helps more. I did both military ...

Re: Brinks vs Garda (G4S) to work for
Don’t belittle any enforcement job, security, Brink’s, Police, By-Law, we are all out there to enforce, and protect..whether it be ourselves, community, or cash and property, we are in it for the same passions! Quite the ELITE position you've taken on this matter... Especially the not so TACTICAL w...

Re: A renewed call for a firearms registry
I would argue that more reasources to guns and gangs units, and front line border protection both at the port of entry, as well as between the ports would be a better use of money and time, opposed to a registry for guns already in Canada. I'm still not remotely convinced that the firearms used in m...

Re: A renewed call for a firearms registry
Okay.... So other than the very broad phrasing "It's what responsible people do" there is absolutely no compelling argument as to how this registry would help anyone at any time. I know that with a PAL I'm on file already as having a Restricted/NR PAL. I know that my Restricted FA's are re...

Re: Canadian Armed Forces
My interpretation of that, is that the OP is looking to use the CF in some capacity to gain "life experience" prior to seeking a law enforcement career. Going into either the Regular military, or Reserve force are both substantial commitments. I can only speak anecdotally about the Reg For...

Re: What games are you playing right now?
Been slowly working my way through "Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus" Not bad, not great. Personally I think the "The New Order" and "The old Blood" were better games overall, but I've been enjoying watching the story progress, and the game play is still pretty fun. I'm...

They had a post on their FB or instagram about their new issued MOLLE pants.... Why the hell would anyone want to strap MOLLE pouches directly onto the pants?

Re: CBSA air-mode Officers armed but not carrying
I'm also convinced that that PX4 Storm is a really good pistol. The CBSA designed version of the PX4 Storm, is the clunker.... Modified to shoot bubbles that smell like bubble gum as to not alarm or trigger the snowflakes? Just like our OC actually emits the rainbows from a care bear stare....

Re: CBSA air-mode Officers armed but not carrying
With that said there is some allowance for those officers to enter the airport for limited periods to conduct other duties before returning outside. CBSA equivalent of a hall pass? Pretty much my understanding of it. Funny how it's dangerous enough airside to need a gun, but yet the customs hall fu...
