Re: Respect In Sport

recceguy that's an interesting perspective - it would be great to hear candid "hidden camera" discussions by players of different ages about their parents' reactions at games. I bet it would open some parents' eyes and probably do a lot more to curb obnoxious parent behaviour than any hou...

Re: TACTICAL EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (TEMS) MEDIC

I have heard about various agencies having a similar resource available. The idea appears to be working its way north from the United States. Here is a video from Saskatoon Police that I found. http://www.police.saskatoon.sk.ca/index.php?loc=videos/arv.php I cant find any written information on what...

Re: Respect In Sport

Sounds like another frustrating night at the rink for another official. I share your skates basket. I got ripped on in the media by a coach a few weeks ago for calling a penalty with 30 seconds left in a tie game. Clearly, it was my fault that their captain CHARGED THE GOALTENDER in his crease. That...

If you are invited to the interview you will be asked to bring a list of three references with you. They will provide the applicant the necessary information in the interview invitation.

And then probably sue the victim because he shot the accused...and the bus company for having a bus stop in a location that was on the accused walking route.

Re: Armoured Car Robbery at U of A

What surprised me most was that it was a joint submission. As a lawyer, why not ask for the standard 25 and let the courts decide? Unless this is all a rouse to help him argue incompetent counsel at the appeal court and throw a wrench into the whole thing. CO I was surprised by that as well; but, t...

Re: Fukushima

An interesting comparison between Fukushima and Chernobyl....it is a Wikipedia so take it for what it is. m I did a case study in University on the Chernobyl disaster. I don't want to down play the significance of Fukushima, but its scale is much smaller then Chernobyl, and Japan is in a way better ...

Baumgartner pleaded guilty today in court. The crown and defense have jointly submitted life in prison with no chance of parole for forty years. This potential president setting sentence will be delivered on Wednesday. A fifteen page Agreed Statement of Facts (ASF) was made available to the public a...

Re: Ask a Sheriff

Just curious as I'm from Ontario, we don't have Sheriffs (to my knowledge). How do they differ from the role the RCMP plays? Are they essentially a municipal officer for a smaller town? I read the Alberta Sheriff page though it sounds like they do traffic and special constable duties(courts, transp...
