Re: Winnipeg Police Class #163

@madeline236: my original reply for some reason isn't posted. clarification- this is intended for all reading this. If the fear that you're being watched is the only motivation for you to be ethical and honest- may be policing or law enforcement is not the right path. Thoughts? I never saw what the...

Re: Winnipeg Police Class #163

@madeline236. "lets all meet at the train monument"? - please do tell- may be a good story for the laughs. Also, the comment about handholding for searching resources - can be spun another way- if you're not really willing to help a civilian in his hour of need- no matter how mundane the task is- p...

Oh and if you can't find resources on your own to help you in the written without hand holding, well, maybe Policing or Law Enforcement isn't the job for you. Sorry not sorry for being so forward.

Re: Winnipeg Police Class #163

Wow, guys Tommy Douglas is rolling in his grave. Just got charged $60 to get medical clearance to run the PAT... Where muh free healthcare at tho. We should only need medical clearance if we are unsure of ourselves. I've ran the PARE before and passed without any medical complications. Alberta does...

I note in 2013 the PB commented he made no useful improvements in anyway after like 17 years. Thats a pretty impressive loser. Maybe consider him again in another, I don't know....never.

Re: Ontario Correctional Services

I think both Jessie and Bitterman are right hand wrong on this one. Yes senior staff deserve respect by any new staff just coming in and yes new staff (some more than others depending where they are coming from and life experience) can have opinions. However its how they express them they have shoul...

Re: Store Security releasing offenders

I don't know the process but do know its already pretty much done that way in in a lot of places, more or less. If fact I know stores that don't even bother to pass details on to police if they get their product back in one piece. Say its not worth their employees time to sit and wait for police.

Re: Moderate Risk to Re Offend

Thing is... what people don't realize (at least at the provincial level here in ontario) is that once an offender is sentenced and arrives back at the jail the mechanism kicks in to get that offender out ASAP. Same in Manitoba however I'll see your provincial BS and raise you. Our government has go...

You can choose you are only willing to work at Stony Mountain, even though it may take longer to be selected depending on operational needs. CSC starts you full time upon being hired...
